Fruit Kebabs

Ingredients

You will need a selection of fruit E.g. strawberries, pineapple, grapes, oranges/satsumas, banana, blueberries.

Long Wooden Skewers

Recipe

1) Peel any fruit that have an inedible skin such as bananas, oranges etc.

2) Chop fruit into large chunks or leave berries and grapes whole if you wish.

3) Start to thread fruit onto long wooden skewers, putting a different colourful variety on each skewer.

4) Eat your fruit kebabs on their own, dipped into some melted dark chocolate or one of our sauces/coulis such as our homemade Apple Sauce or Berry Coulis.

Top Tips

If there are any ingredients that you do not like in any of the recipes, then feel free to swap them out for another food choice within the same food category (grains, beans & other legumes, fruit, veg, nuts & seeds).

You can also use frozen fruit or veg when you don’t have the fresh option.

Don’t forget to keep the skins on your veg where possible for essential added fibre and nutrition.
