Ingredients

450g Pitted Dates (Medjool work best, but any would be fine)
250ml Warm Water

Recipe

1) Put the pitted dates in the liquid. Soak overnight in the fridge or for at least a few hours.

2) Place all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth.

3) Pour out into a container with a lid and store in the fridge. You can also freeze this into ice-cube trays and just remove one cube at a time as you need it for your recipes.

Top Tips

If there are any ingredients that you do not like in any of the recipes, then feel free to swap them out for another food choice within the same food category (grains, beans & other legumes, fruit, veg, nuts & seeds).

You can also use frozen fruit or veg when you don’t have the fresh option.

Don’t forget to keep the skins on your veg where possible for essential added fibre and nutrition.
